Purpose

Reed is a proposed capacity-reservation and delivery-record system. A reservation should define a service window and measurable obligations before settlement. Robinhood Chain is the intended settlement network. No operator network, marketplace inventory or live reservation service is available on this website.

Service envelope

The record should identify the capacity type, region, duration, performance conditions and measurement method. Uptime alone cannot describe every service. Throughput, availability and latency may require different tests, units and sampling windows. The actual standard must match the service sold.

Measurement

Each observation should identify its source, time window and applicable method version. Missing observations are not successful delivery. Measurements should expose exclusions, maintenance windows and sampling limitations. Independent reproducibility is a design goal, not a currently verified network capability.

Exceptions and review

A delivery exception should retain the original agreement, measurement evidence and each party’s response. Contested evidence needs a defined review period and appeal mechanism. Any collateral penalty requires an explicit rule and must not be inferred merely from a single noisy observation.

Settlement boundary

Acceptance of evidence and financial settlement are separate steps. The final design must establish dispute deadlines, release conditions and recovery behavior. Operator collateral cannot guarantee complete compensation for downtime or losses outside the stated service agreement.

Initial scope

The intended first implementation starts with one capacity type and a limited region set. Hardware requirements, operator verification, measurement code and dispute handling must be published before accepting reservations. Token rights, fee rates and production contracts remain unannounced.
